Texas defeated Austin Royals HomeSchool 5-2 thanks to a strong start. Texas scored on a single by Mia Upchurch, an error, and a single by Sarah Helm in the first inning.

Sarah Helm, Upchurch, Ashlene Etkie, and Jaelene Etkie each managed one hit for Texas. Texas stole ten bases during the game as four players had more than one. Helm led the way with three.

Ward led Austin Royals HomeSchool with one run batted in. She went 0-for-4 on the day. Okunami led Austin Royals HomeSchool with four stolen bases, as they recorded 17 stolen bases.
