Ashlynn Cohen and Freya Seremeth both went 3 of 5 with three RBIs to power Maryland past Model yesterday afternoon. Seremeth pitched for Maryland and earned the win.

Riverside and La Sierra Academy each collected 11 hits in the high-scoring affair yesterday afternoon.

Riverside had two big innings scoring nine runs in the first inning and 14 runs in the third inning.

Maricela Galarza, Alexandra Monge, and Metzner each collected multiple hits for Riverside. Monge and Galarza each collected three hits to lead Riverside. Galarza led Riverside with five stolen bases, as they ran wild on the base paths with 21 stolen bases.

Emma Giuntoli didn't allow a single hit as Texas defeated San Marcos Academy 30-0 on Tuesday. To get the final out Giuntoli struck out Boergen.

Marcela Brentham led Texas to victory by driving in six runs. She went 2-for-2 at the plate. Brentham drove in runs on a double in the first and a double in the first.

Texas collected 11 hits. Mia Upchurch, Brentham, and Sunita Schmidjorg each collected multiple hits for Texas. Texas didn't commit a single error in the field. Upchurch had five chances in the field, the most on the team. Texas tore up the base paths, as seven players stole at least two bases. Upchurch led the way with three.

Texas claims second straight Hoy softball championship in dominant fashion

Texas 13 Indiana 2

Texas won their second straight Hoy championship against Indiana last Friday. Emma Giuntoli pitched a dominant game holding Indiana just to two hits and two runs.

Texas scored five runs in the sixth inning. Texas's big inning was driven by a single by Mia Upchurch, a walk by Ashlene Etkie, and a double by Sarah Helm.

Texas collected 13 hits. Emma Giuntoli, Marcela Brentham, Upchurch, and Sunita Schmidjorg each collected multiple hits for Texas. Texas didn't commit a single error in the field. Upchurch had six chances in the field, the most on the team.
