Ariel Senics came the ballpark and meant business on Wednesday, driving in four on three hits to lead Indiana past Traders Point Christian Academy 23-8. Senics drove in runs on a single in the second and a triple in the third.

Indiana earned the victory despite allowing Traders Point Christian Academy to score five runs in the first inning.

Indiana pulled away for good with five runs in the second inning. In the second Anya Pothorski doubled on a 1-0 count, scoring two runs, Senics singled on a 3-0 count, scoring one run, and Stephanie Roberts reached on a dropped third strike.

Indiana scored 11 runs in the third inning. Pothorski, Ashley Hess, Roberts, Megan Dukes, Della Miles, and Claire Slawta all moved runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning.

Pothorski led things off in the pitcher's circle for Indiana. She lasted five innings, allowing six hits and eight runs while striking out six.

Indiana had 13 hits in the game. Senics, Pothorski, Caitlyn Smith, and Slawta each managed multiple hits for Indiana.

Alexandra Monge was an RBI machine on Wednesday, driving in six on two hits to lead Riverside past La Sierra Academy 29-8. Monge drove in runs on a single in the second, a stolen base in the third, a walk in the fourth, and a grand slam in the fifth.

La Sierra Academy scored five runs in the fourth inning, but Riverside still managed to pull out the victory.

Riverside took the lead for good with four runs in the second inning. In the second Monge singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run, Janae Blakely grounded out, scoring one run, and Esparza threw a wild pitch allowing one run across the plate for Riverside.

Riverside scored ten runs in the third inning. Monge, Hannah Metzner, Aspen Goldstein, Lily DeSimone, Hannah Weiss, and Monge all drove in runs in the frame.

Goldstein was in the circle for Riverside. She went three innings, allowing two runs on one hit, striking out two and walking zero.

Esparza was on the rubber for La Sierra Academy. She allowed seven hits and 15 runs over two and two-thirds innings. Onsoe threw two and a third innings out of the bullpen.

Riverside totaled 12 hits. Goldstein went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Riverside in hits.

texasCypress Christian 6 Texas 5 - TAPPS Division III Quarterfinals

Despite a 6-run deficit in the fourth inning, Texas almost came all the way back, eventually falling 6-5 to Cypress Christian on Tuesday. Texas put up five runs in the failed comeback. Sunita Schmidjorg, Michaela Kelley, Jaelene Etkie, and Kaci Ketchum fueled the rally with RBIs.

Texas fell behind early in the loss. Cypress Christian scored on a error in the first inning, a double by Vaughn in the first inning, and a walk by Grabowski in the second inning.

Texas put up three runs in the sixth inning. Etkie and Ketchum all drove in runs in the frame.

Grabowski got the start for Cypress Christian. She allowed eight hits and five runs over seven innings, striking out two.

Ketchum started the game for Texas. She went seven innings, allowing six runs on four hits and striking out one.

Texas racked up eight hits. Sicoli and Kelley all had two hits to lead Texas. Texas stole seven bases and Sicoli led the way with three.

Vaughn led Cypress Christian with two hits in three at bats.
