Deaf basketball players improve skills at Mike Glenn’s basketball camp

Before he begins his senior year on the basketball team at Model Secondary School for the Deaf in Washington D.C., Maguire House said he wanted to improve his basketball skills.

House then decided to travel to Georgia to attend the 39th annual Mike Glenn Basketball Camp for the Deaf. The basketball camp was held June 17-22 at Clairemont Presbyterian Church and Decatur Recreation Center. Hosted by former NBA player Mike Glenn, it is the nation’s first basketball camp for deaf and hearing impaired athletes ages 14 to 18.
