The Bison hosted Central Baptist yesterday afternoon in Gallagher Gym. Last time we played Central Baptist, we won at the buzzer so this figured to be another close game. The Bison jumped out to an early lead behind the inside play of Isa Habeeb and Christian Lawrence. Dalton Planty also produced on the floor and Kassim Kassim hustled on defense. Nick Barrus couldn’t find his touch and struggled to get his offensive game at the pace he is used to maintaining. In the end, Central Baptist won 45-34. Christian Lawrence and Dalton Planty each scored 12 points for the Bison.
