Even though Indiana gave up six runs in the fifth inning, they still defeated Tindley 19-6.

Indiana collected 15 hits and Tindley had three in the high-scoring affair.

Indiana opened up scoring in the first inning. Jerrick Pothorski drew a walk, scoring two runs.

Indiana notched seven runs in the second inning. Kolton Dickerson, Pothorski, Kyle Jenkins, Justin Pickering, Franco Bippus, and Joel Dramin all contributed in the big inning with RBIs.

Dickerson was the winning pitcher for Indiana. He surrendered zero runs on zero hits over two and a third innings, striking out seven and walking zero. A number of pitchers entered the game as relief, with Jaylen Jefferson, Jenkins, Pickering, and Dramin all securing outs and ultimately the victory.

John Paul II scored 11 runs in the fourth inning. The big inning for John Paul II came thanks to walks by Kowalk and Gabriel, singles by Wertz and Albrecht, a home run by Kowalk, a groundout by Wallace, and an error on a ball put in play by Beckworth.

Albrecht started the game for John Paul II. He allowed two hits and one run over three innings, striking out seven and walking one. Gabriel was the winning pitcher for John Paul II. He lasted one inning, allowing zero hits and zero runs while striking out one and walking zero.

Upchurch took the loss for Texas. He lasted three innings, allowing six hits and 11 runs while striking out two.

John Paul II socked two home runs on the day. Albrecht had a four bagger in the third inning. Kowalk went for the long ball in the fourth inning.

Two-slam game is just the tip of Anderson's value to MSD baseball

marylandMaryland School for the Deaf baseball player Stefan Anderson had to wait a long time to get his first career grand slam.

The wait for his second one was considerably shorter.

The senior hit the first two grand slams of his career on inside-the-park homers during his first two at-bats against Massanutten Military Academy on April 11.

Stefan Anderson’s big day belting two in-the-park grand slams and eight RBIs powered Maryland past Massanutten Military Academy yesterday afternoon.

Maryland took the lead for good with six runs in the third inning. In the third, Maryland scored two runs on two errors, John Werner, Jr. singled on a 2-1 count, scoring one run, and Isaiah Franklin threw a wild pitch allowing one run across the plate for Maryland.

Miguel Pavao started the game for Maryland. He allowed two hits and five runs over one and two-thirds innings, striking out two. Brody McAfee earned the victory on the pitcher's mound for Maryland. He allowed zero hits and zero runs over two and a third innings, striking out three and walking zero. Ethan Sheppeck threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.

Dick took the loss for Massanutten Military Academy. He allowed six hits and eight runs over two innings, striking out one.

Franklin and Dick each managed one hit to lead Massanutten Military Academy.

Indiana lost despite out-hitting Indianapolis Northwest eight to four.

Indiana tallied three runs in the third inning. Jenkins, Jerrick Pothorski, and Kolton Dickerson powered the big inning with RBIs.

In the bottom of the fifth inning, Indianapolis Northwest tied things up at four when Lopez tripled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run.

Kitt got the start for Indianapolis Northwest. He surrendered four runs on eight hits over seven innings, striking out ten and walking one.

Pothorski was on the mound for Indiana. He lasted three innings, allowing two hits and three runs while striking out seven. Dickerson and Jenkins entered the game as relief, throwing two innings and one inning respectively.

Four runs batted in from Jack Scarboro helped lead Texas past Faith Academy 11-1 on Tuesday. Scarboro drove in runs on a triple in the first and a double in the fourth.

In the first inning, Texas got their offense started when Shane Dever singled on a 2-2 count, scoring one run.

Texas tallied three runs in the fourth inning. The offensive onslaught by Texas was led by Scarboro and Braden Ketchum, all driving in runs in the inning.

Mason Rosko pitched Texas to victory. He went four and two-thirds innings, allowing one run on three hits and striking out five. Jaylen Johnson threw one-third of an inning in relief out of the bullpen.

Oliver took the loss for Faith Academy. He allowed six hits and eight runs over two and a third innings, striking out three and walking one.

Texas tallied nine hits on the day. Scarboro went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead Texas in hits. Texas stole nine bases during the game.
