Maryland jumped out to an early lead over Greater Grace Christian Academy and took home an 8-3 victory on Tuesday. Maryland scored on a double by Stefan Anderson and a single by Brody McAfee in the first inning.

After Greater Grace Christian Academy scored one run in the top of the third, Maryland answered with one of their own.

McAfee was the winning pitcher for Maryland. He went seven innings, allowing three runs on seven hits, striking out eight and walking zero.

Maryland tallied nine hits in the game. Anderson, Rory Lewis, and McAfee all collected multiple hits for Maryland. Anderson led Maryland with three hits in four at bats.

Riverside lost the lead late in a 6-4 defeat to Upland Christian Academy. With two outs in the top of the seventh Paul Hernandez-McIntosh's wild pitch allowed one run to score for Upland Christian Academy.

In the first inning, Upland Christian Academy got their offense started when Jacob Weiss threw a wild pitch allowing one run across the plate for Upland Christian Academy.

Riverside knotted the game up at one in the bottom of the third inning. An error scored one run for Riverside.
