Jacob Weiss was an RBI machine on Monday, driving in five on two hits to lead Riverside past Lucerne Valley 17-4. Weiss drove in runs on a sacrifice fly in the first, a single in the second, and a single in the third.

Riverside tallied six runs in the third inning. The rally was led by walks by Spencer
Willey, Paul Hernandez-McIntosh, and Watters and a single by Weiss.

Willey earned the win for Riverside. He surrendered four runs on four hits over three innings, striking out four. Watters threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen.

Ignacio Perez took the loss for Lucerne Valley. He went two innings, allowing seven runs on four hits and striking out five.

Weiss led Riverside with two hits in two at bats. Riverside stole 13 bases during the game as four players stole more than one. Willey led the way with four.
