Texas watched the game slip away early and couldn't recover in a 10-1 loss to San Antonio Lutheran.

Weathe started the game for San Antonio Lutheran and allowed zero hits and zero runs over four innings, striking out eight. Chapin pitching in relief got the win for San Antonio Lutheran lasting three innings, allowing two hits and one run while striking out six and walking one.

Connor Upchurch took the loss for Texas allowing three hits and nine runs over six innings, striking out eight.

Julian Ortiz and Chandler Sexton-Ruiz each collected one hit to lead Texas.

Riverside had trouble keeping up with Carnegie Schools-Riverside in an 18-0 loss on Tuesday.

Castaneda earned the win for Carnegie Schools-Riverside. He went five innings, allowing zero runs on zero hits, striking out nine and walking zero.

Jacob Weiss took the loss for Riverside. He lasted one and two-thirds innings, allowing six hits and 13 runs while striking out one.

Carnegie Schools-Riverside racked up 11 hits in the game. Max Anderson, Connor Guise, and Noe Delgado all managed multiple hits for Carnegie Schools-Riverside. Carnegie Schools-Riverside was sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error.

Despite allowing six runs in the third inning, Texas defeated San Juan Diego Catholic 25-10 on Tuesday. The big inning for San Juan Diego Catholic came thanks to walks by Garcia, Agiular, and Reyes, by Gutterrez and Pina, and a single by Sanchez.

Texas got things moving in the first inning, when Travis Carrizales was hit by a pitch, driving in a run.

Texas scored nine runs in the third inning. Texas's offense in the inning came from singles by Shane Dever, Logan Rosko, Julian Ortiz, and Chandler Sexton-Ruiz, a walk by Carrizales, and an error on a ball put in play by Sexton-Ruiz.

Sexton-Ruiz toed the rubber for Texas surrendering two runs on zero hits over one and one-third innings, striking out four.

Sanchez was on the mound for San Juan Diego Catholic allowing two hits and eight runs over one inning, striking out two. Gutterrez, Reyes, and Agiular each contributed in relief for San Juan Diego Catholic.

Texas racked up eight hits as Rosko and Dever both had multiple hits. Texas stole 15 bases as five players stole more than one. Rosko led the way with three.

Sanchez went 1-for-3 at the plate for San Juan Diego Catholic’s only hit.
