Fremont had 16 hits while Making Waves Academy collected two hits in the high-scoring affair.

Fremont took an early lead in the first inning. With two outs in the first inning Spezio Harmount drove in one run when he singled.

Fremont scored 13 runs in the third inning. Fremont's big inning was driven by a error, a fielder's choice by Spezio Harmount, a triple by Luke Bella, a stolen base, a single by Bryan Alvarado-Salazar, a triple by Spezio Harmount, a single by Jax Pedersen, and a single.

Spezio Harmount earned the win for Fremont. He went two innings, allowing six runs, two hits, and striking out two. Jose Gastelum took the loss for Making Waves Academy . He threw two and two-thirds innings, surrendering 17 runs, six hits, and striking out three.

Gastelum led Making Waves Academy with two runs batted in. He went 0-for-1 on the day.

Luke Bella, Spezio Harmount, Bryan Alvarado-Salazar, and Jax Pedersen each collected multiple hits for Fremont. Luke Bella went 5-for-5 at the plate as he led the team with six runs batted in. Fremont didn't commit a single error in the field. Kobi Sittman had eight chances in the field, the most on the team.

An early lead helped Indiana defeat Providence Cristo Rey 11-2 on Wednesday. Indiana scored on a double by Lance Wood in the first inning, a single by Franco Bippus in the second inning, and a single by Jaylen Jefferson in the second inning.

Indiana took the lead for good with two runs in the second inning. Franco Bippus singled driving in one run and Jaylen Jefferson also had a single driving in another run.

Indiana scored three runs in the fourth inning to extend their lead. The runs came on a double and a single.

Wood earned the win for Indiana. He pitched six and a third innings, giving up two runs, five hits, and striking out ten.

Indiana collected 12 hits. Dickerson, Schwall, Wood, and Pothorski each collected two hits to lead Indiana. Jake Schwall finished the day with five stolen bases.
