Waring wins European Deaf Golf Championship

2017 European Deaf Golf ChampionshipPaul Waring of Great Britain won the 5th European Deaf Golf Championships with a final score of 218 outdistancing David Ewen and Steven Cafferty who finished in second with identical score of 235.

Linda Ingman also of Great Britain outlasted Leonie Warringa of Netherlands to win the Women’s championship with a score of 258 to 264.

The biannual event will be hosted at the Barseback Gofl Club at Sweden in 2019.

* Men’s Gross competition (for 0-14 handicap male golfers only)
* Men’s Nett competition (for 0-14 handicap male golfers only – full handicap allowance)
* Men’s Team competition (for 0-14 handicap golfers with best 3 gross scores from teams of 4 to count)
* Men’s Stableford competition (for 15-28 handicap male golfers only – full handicap allowance)
* Senior Men’s Stableford competition (for male golfers aged 50 and over on 24th August 2017 – full handicap allowance)
* Ladies Gross competition (for 0-18 handicap female golfers only)
* Ladies Stableford competition (for 19-36 handicap female golfers only – full handicap allowance)
