Trailblazing Seattle Seahawks fullback Derrick Coleman, the 1st deaf athlete to play offense in the NFL, had 2 words for the naysayers growing up: "Watch me."

In his new memoir, "No Excuses: Growing Up Deaf and Achieving My Super Bowl Dreams," Coleman credits his parents with helping him dodge and weave his way to a stellar gridiron career at UCLA, which led to his undrafted, unlikely walk-on with the Seahawks and a 2014 Super Bowl ring. His No Excuse Foundation works to end bullying of the hearing-impaired.
