The Austrian Deaf Sports Association is currently hosting the 10th European Deaf Bowling Championships at Vienna. 201 bowlers from 24 countries will compete in multiple events from May 14th to May 24th.
May 15 - Women Singles
Russia's Nadezda Korablinova won the gold and set two tournament records scoring 268 in fifth game and 1296 for six games. Eva Ulfsparre of Sweden finished second with 1165 and Ragnheidur Thorgilsdottir of Iceland came in third with 1133.

May 16 - Men Singles
The Men's singles event had 106 bowlers and the top three finishers were separated by 27 points. Great Britain's Damien Bates captured the gold with 132, Simon Wildenhayn of Germany came in second with 1318, and Frederic Delsol of France rounded out the top three with 1298.

May 17 - Women Doubles
Russia women finished first and third in the doubles event. The Russia duo of Nadezda Korablinova and Olga Lotina won in a landslide with 2344. Evgenia Fermani and Themis Berti of Greece finished second with 2179. The second team from Russia, Nadezhda Shakhbazian and Svetlana Lipkina finished third with 2157.

May 18 - Men Doubles
The men's doubles event was a thrilling one with the outcome decided at the last throw.
Germany's double pair, Kevin Lindemann and Simon Wildenhayn won their first gold with 2426. Frederic Divol and Frederic Delsol of France came in second with 2413. Damien Bates and Matt Forsyth of Great Britian finished third with 2394. 13 points separated the top two teams and 19 points was the margin between second and third place teams.
